WindWalker is compensated for the professional services it provides; it does not take an ongoing percentage of an independent author’s royalties or acquire ownership of a manuscript simply because it assisted with its production or publication.
This approach allows WindWalker to provide professional publishing support without requiring authors to surrender control of their work. Any arrangement that differs from this standard would require a separate written agreement clearly establishing the rights and responsibilities of both parties.
