Across different generations and landscapes, Tiernan Finian and Ewan Lachlan Campbell carried the same unwavering conviction: authentic faith must be lived, tested, and carried into the world. Their writings call readers beyond comfortable religion and into a life shaped by prayer, obedience, spiritual courage, and the presence of God.
Born in 1918, Tiernan Finian began his literary journey in 1943, publishing his first book at twenty-five. Across more than six decades of writing, his voice became known for wilderness prayer, holy mystery, and the quiet fire of a life refined before God.

A lifetime of prayer-shaped writing, carried across generations
Born in Scotland in 1888, the son of Sergeant Lachlan Campbell of the 91st Argyllshire Highlanders.
Entered the ministry at nineteen in 1907, and published his first book in 1914 at twenty-six.
His life bore the strength of Scripture, the discipline of a minister, and a spiritual hunger for the living presence of God. He died in 1976 at eighty-eight.

Wilderness prayer, holy mystery, and quiet endurance — a fire that burns low and steady, shaped by wilderness and solitude rather than platform.
The weight of Scripture and the discipline of the Scottish pulpit, stretched toward a living encounter with the Holy Spirit — anchored in the Word, awakened by prayer and healing.
